I got 4 pieces a couple of months ago, and soldered them the same day I got them! Other obligations took my mind off them and I put them somewhere, together with &#8216;assorted electronics stuff&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>A few days earlier I decided to put them in use, and I grabbed an Arduino nano and got to work. Well, Arduino makes it so easy sometimes&#8230; The most development time for this project was testing sketches for scrolling characters I had downloaded. Then some very little modifications and voil\u00e0!<\/p>\n<div class=\"epyt-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  style=\"display: block; margin: 0px auto;\"  id=\"_ytid_55847\"  width=\"1140\" height=\"641\"  data-origwidth=\"1140\" data-origheight=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Co8lB9hnHaE?enablejsapi=1&#038;autoplay=0&#038;cc_load_policy=0&#038;cc_lang_pref=&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;loop=0&#038;rel=0&#038;fs=1&#038;playsinline=0&#038;autohide=2&#038;theme=light&#038;color=red&#038;controls=1&#038;disablekb=0&#038;\" class=\"__youtube_prefs__  epyt-is-override  no-lazyload\" title=\"YouTube player\"  allow=\"fullscreen; accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen data-no-lazy=\"1\" data-skipgform_ajax_framebjll=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>I ended up picking a sketch from a guy that liked <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/?title=AC\/DC\" target=\"_blank\">AC\/DC<\/a>, but I forgot to bookmark the place I had downloaded it from, and I cannot give credit where due, sorry.<\/p>\n<p>I just modified the characters so I was able to display messages in Greek. i modified the uppercase only, the lowercase are still in latin characters. Feel free to do so. I am sure it needs more work and polishing up, but it did the job for me and I gave the hole setup away already.
